What is Order-To-Cash?

Order-to-Cash process covers the whole process of processing customer orders, starting from the customer order all the way to the point where the payment has been received from the customer. The process covers different units, such as warehousing, delivery, invoicing and account management. Order-to-Cash occurs in many different organizations and is a key process that is found as a part of many Enterprise Information Systems. The process is a high-volume process and thus produces a lot of data.

Order-to-Cash & Process Mining

Order-to-Cash is a high-volume process and thus different variations in the process are possible. Delays can cause unnecessary losses and make it harder to perform in the market. Finding improvement points is important and this is where Process Mining can help. Using the data produced by Information Systems, QPR ProcessAnalyzer transforms this data into Process Knowledge. This process knowledge is presented in the form of Process Flowcharts, Piecharts and other forms of presentation. The Process Data can be appended with further information, giving way for even further analysis and end-to-end process analysis.
