Meet Tim Rushent, UK&I Sales Director at QPR

We met up with our UK-based Sales Director Tim Rushent in Helsinki to find out why he chose to work with process mining and QPR. He had flown in to take part in the company day, and, most of all, to make up for lost time and get to know his colleagues outside of Teams meetings.

Tim is a true process-geek who has been involved with business processes and software in different companies since 2004. Prior to working at QPR with process mining, Tim was working with process modeling.

Process mining was a leap towards a new area and discipline, which seemed fascinating to Tim when he first heard of it. Two years later, Tim still views process mining as an interactive and fast way to resolve the confusion that people often have before finding out what’s really going on in their businesses.

“With process modeling, you have plenty of meetings where the loudest person gets their view across. With process mining, you can’t do that. Everyone will be on the same, objective, page”, Tim explains.

Tim’s main mission is to bring QPR Software to the UK, grow the partner network, and build something new. Building things is something that Tim also enjoys in his spare time: renovating his house and interior design. Tim, like many of us at QPR, also enjoys the great outdoors, often exploring it together with his two dogs or as a skipper on a sailing boat out at sea.
