After over 20 years working in technology – as an automation engineer, consultant, architect and more, our Senior Consultant, Kai Käpölä found his way to QPR. To Kai, an essential factor of work satisfaction is the feeling of having his voice heard and knowing that his work contributes to making people's lives better.

Kai is a self-proclaimed handyman and a jack of all trades within Enterprise Architecture, who in the comfort of his home often picks up a guitar to play a few tunes.

Kai describes working with Enterprise Architecture as shaping the general understanding of an organization's structure and operations while uncovering interdependencies and hidden complexities.

Essentially, he crafts Enterprise Architecture in the same way as a carpenter constructs, repairs, and installs building frameworks. Kai is an expert who loves to work with his hands: his handiwork just happens to be crafted onto a screen.
