We are looking for a full-time DevOps Engineer to join our QPR family.  

In this role, you’ll be working together with 6 professionals in a supportive, experienced and international team.

You will play an important role in taking part in operating and developing QPR’s cloud services, which are currently running on AWS. Furthermore, you will also take a part in developing our continuous integration/delivery environments and processes. 

The scalability and efficiency of our SaaS (Software as a Service) solution and automation of the delivery process are essential in efforts to develop our products and operations going forward.  

In this job, you will have the opportunity to apply your existing skills with support from eager colleagues. At QPR, we believe that further education is essential and will thus provide you with the possibility to learn and research new technologies to develop your expertise further.   

You can work remotely from Finland and/or at our offices in Helsinki and Oulu. 

What we wish from you:

• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps or Software Engineer
• Relevant technical education
• Experience in operating Cloud environments
• Experience with DevOps processes and tools 
• Experience with the following technologies:
  
  
  • Windows Server and Linux
  • Scripting
  • Containers
  • AWS
  • Databases (MS SQL)

• Independent and proactive way of working with a; “hands-on” attitude

• Skills in developing and documenting technical solutions to support operations

• Motivation to improve our practices and processes 

• Good verbal and written English skills
