QPR Software has won the tender for the enterprise architecture consulting provider of the Senate Properties. Senate Properties is a Finnish government owned enterprise under the aegis of the Finnish Ministry of Finance and acts as the government’s expert on the working environment and working premises.
The agreement period is six months, starting as of December 2014. After the first agreement period the agreement can be renewed in six months periods during 2015 – 2017. The estimated total revenue of this consultancy from the entire 2014 – 2017 agreement period (initial + possible continuations) is slightly over EUR 0.3 million.
Enterprise architecture can be divided into four sub-sections: business, information, application and technology architecture. Senate Properties has implemented business enterprise architecture since 2005 when the modeling of business operations was started with QPR ProcessDesigner tool. Modeling of the information architecture was initiated even earlier. Use of QPR EnterpriseArchitect tool was started in 2013.
The target of the enterprise architecture work in Senate Properties is to model its enterprise architecture according to the Act on Information Management Governance in Public Administration, and to implement enterprise architecture method into the entire organization.
Senate Properties is the government’s internal expert who takes comprehensive responsibility for its clients’ working premises. Its services are mainly provided to government bodies.
