QPR’s automated business process analysis tools complementing Affecto’s Business Intelligence- and process consultancy

QPR and Affecto Finland Oy have signed a cooperation agreement, through which Affecto can offer customers data driven approach for analysis and improvement of processes. This enables process optimization based on facts, helping customers target corrective actions to those process bottlenecks that have direct impact to the bottom line. QPR provides Affecto automated business process discovery (ABPD) software, QPR ProcessAnalyzer that allows Affecto to grow and differentiate its analytics and consultancy services as well as develop process analysis solutions based on the software.

”Using data as a basis for process analysis and improvement gives a new perspective to traditional Business Intelligence world. Through this cooperation we can deliver customers clear benefits and added value since QPR ProcessAnalyzer reveals and visualizes processes as they are logged in the systems - not as they are instructed. This allows us to drill down to the real process issues and development areas, which gives us the chance to deepen our customer relationships even further”, comments Henri Engström, Director at Affecto Finland Oy.

QPR ProcessAnalyzer provides the exact ’as-is’ process flowchart and detailed process performance information for analysis and improvement of business processes. Using the relevant data from business support systems, such as SAP, the software product delivers facts and actionable insight for making right decisions to optimize processes. The software includes powerful ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) functionalities, removing the need to use a separate tool for working with data. In addition, data integration can be automated and further data transformations done within the product. This supports continuous analyses and monitoring of processes aiming for full transparency on process performance.

”Affecto is a leading player in the field of business information management and we are thrilled to work with them to link QPR ProcessAnalyzer with Business Intelligence. This strengthens our view that QPR ProcessAnalyzer brings added value to the traditional BI approach of using data, as it adds the process perspective. Thanks to the agreement, together we can offer customers a way to bring transparency to processes and see the process changes, and therefore be able to have a direct impact to their business performance”, continues Mika Leonsaari, Director of Global ABPD business at QPR.
