Finnish Ministry of Finance has chosen QPR Software to analyze government productivity and digitalization


Helsinki, Finland, August 20th, 2018 at 12.00 pm – Ministry of Finance has chosen QPR Software Plc to analyze government productivity and digitalization improvement potential. The public procurement is based on 2017-2021 framework agreement on management and development consulting services.

The analysis concerns the productivity and digitalization potential of processes related to government provided benefits, compensations support and related information systems. In addition, the prospects of using analytics, robotics and artificial intelligence in the government agency core functions will be assessed.

With the help of productivity and digitalization analysis it will be easier to identify measures that can help the government reach at least 10 % savings and get as high as 20 – 40 % total benefit for the society. The development of productivity and digitalization as well as general productivity savings are expected to reach some € 250 million cost reduction between 2020 and 2029.

The public procurement includes approximately 200 consultancy man-days by the end of 2018. The government reserves an option to increase the amount to 300-1000 additional man-days.
