What do I do if I want to purchase additional licenses?

To purchase additional licenses, contact your sales representative or local QPR Partner. If you do not know who the correct person is, please contact QPR Customer Care.

How do I make a feature request?

All feature requests should be sent to QPR Customer Care. Contact QPR Customer Care either by email or by phone. Once the feature is documented, you will receive a feature ID that will allow you to follow up on it.

How do I report a software problem?

All software problems should be sent to QPR Customer Care. Contact QPR Customer Care either by email or by phone. Please try to provide detailed steps to recreate the problem and the version number in which the problem is occurring.

What is the difference between a service pack and a maintenance release?

Maintenance releases (e.g. QPR 7.0.2) fix software bugs. Maintenance releases offer full backward compatibility within the product release at the data level (no need to transfer databases). All software components have to be of the same release e.g. 7.0.2 D-client cannot be used with 7.0.3 Application server

Service packs (e.g. QPR 7.2.1 SP1) fix software bugs. Service packs update only the software components that have changed. Full backward compatibility on component level is maintained e.g. only the servers can be updated and used with still unupdated clients.

How does QPR provide new versions and updates to its maintenance customers?

New versions can be downloaded by valid maintenance customers from the Extranet for customers, UserNet

How does the product activation work?

QPR products have a built in 14 day evaluation, which can be used only once per computer. For existing customers, use the provided customer code to license the purchased products. 

What do I do if the product activation ends?

If you wish to prolong the evaluation period, please contact your regional sales representative.
