QPR Software Plc’s offering is composed of out-of-the box software, consulting and other services supporting and promoting their usage, and solutions. Solutions are replicable and usually sector-specific comprehensive offerings.

QPR software is used by 1,500 customers around the world from the private as well as the public sector.
Customer organizations systematically develop their processes and performance with the software. Customers may also use software to comply with requirements set by regulation and standards or to manage operational changes entailed by compliance with the regulation.

QPR’s service offering includes methodology consulting related to operational process and performance development, IT implementation, and training sessions. Consulting services help customers to map the current status of their operating models and the related challenges, make their strategy understood, build measurements, implement balanced scorecard projects and to identify, model, develop and manage operational processes.

Customer case: software customer

Omani-based United Finance Company (UFC) wanted to credibly measure performance in various units and organizational levels. As a method it chose balanced scorecard. As a pilot measurement an Excel sheet -based balanced scorecard system was introduced in UFC in 2007.

To extend this Performance Management System from the top management to all employees, the system needed to be automated to maintain accuracy and proper assessment capable of capturing all the necessary data. The QPR scorecard-based system was implemented. Decision-making associated with closing the deal was assisted by UFC interviewing customers with experiences from QPR software from Dubai, India and Oman.

Customer case: solution customer

The Finnish KuntaIT (or Council-IT) activity, coordinated by the Finnish Ministry of Finance, aims to modernize public-sector procedures and service production by using the latest information and communication technology. With KuntaIT’s process modeling and process bank services, Finnish councils and other communal actors (like federations of municipalities) model their processes in a unified way and share the newly acquired process knowledge with each other.

QPR was responsible for the technical solution behind the process bank service and manages its maintenance and operation. Practical process modeling work in councils is supported and encouraged by QPR specialists training the civil servants. The acquisition was delivered as a SaaS, Service as Software type rental agreement.
In the beginning of 2009, the process bank had more than 300 users from more than 100 organizations.
More than 200 process models were filed to the bank.

Customer case: risk management and compliance

The Finnish subsidiary of international construction group Skanska uses QPR software for process modeling and performance management.

The Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health chose two best practice candidates to the European Union’s risk management competition in autumn 2008. One of the candidates was Skanska, who harnessed QPR software to encourage its employees to monitor work safety hazards at construction sites. The use of the QPR ScoreCard software led to a decrease in the number of accidents which more than halved in three years to 50 per cent of the national average.

Customer case: performance management

San Diego International Airport is the busiest single runway airport in the USA.

With the help of the QPR ScoreCard solution, the airport management monitors and assesses in real-time various activities like the passenger volume, parking income and waiting times. This enables immediate corrective operational actions when needed. The airport has also succeeded in its strategy implementation in the always challenging task of combing both commercial and communal demands.

In addition to the strategic measures, the QPR ScoreCard solution was deployed more widely during the expansion of the second customer terminal. The progress of sub-projects and costs were monitored with the software.
